I was required to find an open source project for CEG 436- Mobile Computing.  After hours of rummaging through countless projects on code.google.com I finally found one that worked perfectly. The project I decided on was Androidnetworktester, a simple app which determines how fast your Internet connection is regardless of how you are connected (does not test bluetooth).

Planned Upgrades

• Facebook Button (push the results to Facebook)
• Location Finder (add details to facebook push and displayed on the screen)
• Host Selector (Add my website and my WSU website)
• Running Tests on multiple hosts (Averaging the results)

• Upload Speed measurement
